Job Description

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Fujikin Singapore's business operations.

Directly accountable for revenue growth, market expansion, customer relationships, and leading the operational departments.

Work closely with Fujikin Incorporated (headquarters located in Japan) and interpret Fujikin Carp Group's high-level direction and strategy (in Japanese) into local contexts and actionable plans to implement and execute smoothly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth

Develop and execute business strategy by

  • Identifying and develop new growth opportunities.
  • Strengthening the channel and distributor management.
  • Leading and managing key strategic customer and partner relationships.
  • Enhancing Fujikin brand presence and credibility in the market.

Business Management

Develop and execute operational strategy by

  • Improving business efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Fostering a growth mindset, accountability, and ownership culture within the company.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, governance standards, and regulations.

Required Qualifications, Experiences and Skills:

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.


Experiences and Skills

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in executive leadership roles, with at least 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role (Director-level capacity) within the semiconductor front-end fabrication and/or parts manufacturer for the OEMs sector.
  • Strong strategic sales management capabilities with proven track record of closing complex, high-value technical sales in the similar market.
  • Exposure to large-scale product development programs in the similar industry field.
  • Proven ability to adapt to evolving market conditions, anticipate industry trends and drive innovation to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Proven experience in overseeing and managing company-wide diverse functional operations including sales, logistics, technicals, finance, human resources, legal, IT, and administration.
  • Extensive experience in optimising operational process and implementing performance metrics to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Experience in driving organisational change initiatives, resulting in improved operational effectiveness.
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of effectively managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • High proficiency in the Japanese language to report and communicate with Japanese stakeholders in the Japanese language regularly. (Familiarity and usage of mechanical and electricity-related technical terms in the Japanese language are necessary to execute the role.)
