This is a high-impact role with end-to-end accountability for strategic financial decisions, has a strong focus on orchestrating a best-in-class supply chain that maximizes customer value, whilst enabling profitable growth. The role serves as the Supply Chain Finance point of contact for the Global Supply Chain Planning organization. You will lead and coordinate strategic network initiatives, effective IBP processes, and bring a strong financial modelling capability to our planning activities. As a leader, you will partner closely with the broader Supply Chain leadership to provide financial insight, challenge performance, and support decision-making across the global network.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Planning Support
- Act as the primary Finance partner for the Global Supply Chain Planning organization.
- Support enterprise and functional strategy by translating strategic intent into financial implications, choices, and priorities.
- Provide forward looking insights that connect strategy, resources, risks, and performance, enabling our Supply Chain Planning leaders to make informed, value focused decisions.
Financial Modelling & Scenario Planning
- Work closely with the strategic planning leader to establish best practices in holistic supply chain network business case developments, scenario planning and trade off management.
- Build, interpret, and challenge financial models that assess outcomes under different strategic, operational, and market scenarios.
- Use modelling to support decision making under uncertainty, evaluate trade-offs, and anticipate financial implications of key business choices.
- Lead Finance role supporting Supply Chain across our IBP Process, including PMR (Portfolio Management Review), CMR (Commercial Management Review), SMR (Supply Management Review) and IR (Integrated Reconciliation).
- Assess financial impact of productivity initiatives, network changes, inventory strategies, and cost optimization programs.
CapEx Planning & ROI Analysis
- Evaluate capital investment proposals through rigorous financial assessment, risk analysis, and value measurement.
- Ensures capital allocation decisions are aligned to strategic priorities, deliver sustainable returns, and are tracked through the full investment lifecycle.
Executive Communication & Data Storytelling
- Ability to distil complex financial and operational data into clear, compelling narratives tailored to executive audiences.
- Communicate insights with confidence, influence, and clarity to support decision making, alignment, and accountability.
COGS/Margin Analytics & Drivers
- Analyze, interpret and explain cost and margin performance by identifying underlying drivers, trade-offs, and sensitivities.
- Translate complex cost structures into actionable insights that inform pricing, investment, operational decisions, and value creation across the end-to-end value chain.
Working Capital Management (Inventory)
- Proactively support the optimization and management of working capital investment in Inventory across the end-to-end network.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting for network Inventory.
End to End Transformation Capabilities (Planning, Process, Systems, Data and Ways of Working)
- Support end-to-end transformation across planning, processes, systems, data, and ways of working.
- Apply a holistic finance lens to drive simplification, automation, standardization, and capability uplift that improves decision quality and business outcomes.
Let's talk about you:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field MBA or CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of industry experience in finance, with a strong focus on supply chain and manufacturing.
- Proven ability to build effective cross-functional partnerships.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with keen attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of SOX compliance and US GAAP.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and leading change.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and challenging the status quo.
Desirable:
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain operations and IBP Process
- Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau, SQL or Python.
