Job Purpose
The Wealth Planning & Trust Services Director/Executive Director is responsible for leading the wealth structuring, estate planning, and trust advisory services. This role focuses on delivering bespoke solutions for High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients, ensuring their wealth preservation, succession planning, and asset protection needs are met in a compliant and strategic manner. The incumbent will work closely with relationship managers, legal advisors, tax specialists, and fiduciary partners to provide holistic advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Wealth Structuring & Estate Planning: Develop and implement tailored wealth planning strategies, including estate planning, tax optimization, philanthropy, and intergenerational wealth transfer.
- Trust & Fiduciary Services: Provide expert guidance on trust structures, family office solutions, and fiduciary arrangements that align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Client Advisory: Partner with relationship managers to engage clients in in-depth discussions about wealth planning, ensuring a client-centric approach to structuring their assets.
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory frameworks, trust laws, and fiduciary standards across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external legal, tax, and estate planning professionals to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Market & Industry Insights: Keep abreast of developments in wealth planning, estate laws, tax regulations, and fiduciary best practices to provide up-to-date advisory services.
- Training & Development: Educate internal teams on wealth planning and trust solutions to enhance their ability to provide informed client recommendations.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or related field.
- A TEP (Trust & Estate Practitioner) or CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in wealth planning, trust advisory, or private banking, with a strong understanding of trust and estate planning structures.
- Expertise in multi-jurisdictional tax and regulatory matters affecting HNW and UHNW clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and advise sophisticated clients and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and business development.
- Ability to navigate complex legal and financial frameworks while maintaining a client-focused approach.
