Director, Enterprise and Audience Development (2-Years Contract)

Defence Collective Singapore (DCS) manages the Singapore DiscoveryCentre, the SAF museums and the future NS-Themed Gallery to meet MINDEF/SAF'sobjectives to strengthen commitment to Singapore and community support for NS/defence.

The Director, Enterprise and Audience Development is responsible for leading Defence Collective Singapore's integrated audience strategy, brand positioning, marketing communications, sales performance and programme growth across all DCS entities. The Director will be the primary bridge between theCommercial and Programmes departments to foster a collaborative organisational culture, ensuring that teamwork across these functions leads to the achievement of DCS's visitorship and awareness targets.

This role offers the unique opportunity to integrate commercial and programming initiatives and drive measurable mission impact - strengthening Commitment to Defence (C2D), Commitment to Singapore (C2S) and Support for National Service (S4NS) - through data-driven audience engagement, compellingprogramming, and sustainable revenue growth.

This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Deputy CEO and works closely with Museum General Managers, Corporate Services, Digital & IT, and Strategic Partnerships.

THIS IS A 2-YEAR RENEWABLE / CONVERTIBLE CONTRACT ROLE

Job Responsibilities:

Audience Development

Provide strategic leadership to design and lead a department for the development and execute an integrated Enterprise and Audience Development Strategy - across a group of educational museums and attractions - aligned to DCS FY26-27 Workplan and 10-year roadmap.

Lead segmentation, targeting and positioning across schools, families, corporates, NS stakeholders and community segments.

Drive CRM adoption and data analytics to improve acquisition, retention and lifetimevalue.

Establish growth dashboards and performance analytics for Board reporting.

Brand and Marketing Strategy

Shape and steward DCS master brand architecture across SDC, SNM, SAFM and future nodes.

Lead integrated branding and marketing campaigns (physical, digital, social, partnerships) to position DCS venues as premier educational and culturallandmarks.

Overseecontent strategy across exhibitions, digital platforms and national campaigns,ensuring alignment with MINDEF communications frameworks where applicable.

Strengthenbrand resonance among youth and emerging audiences.

Programming and Audience Experience

Work inlockstep with the Programmes Department to co-develop the organisation'sstrategic roadmap, ensuring that all educational and attraction-based offeringsacross exhibitions, activations, festivals and outreach initiatives are notonly mission-aligned but also financially sustainable and positioned for highpublic engagement.

Driveinnovation in experiential formats (immersive, interactive, digital-enabled)and integrate audience insights into programme design and refresh cycles.

Revenue and Commercial Growth

Lead ticketing strategy, pricing frameworks and yield optimisation to grow earned revenue streams (corporate bookings, venue hire, partnerships, retail).

Collaborate with DCS departments and relevant counterparts in the local and overseasattractions, museums, and defence community to establish and scale asophisticated business collaboration ecosystem, developing structuredsponsorship models that that extend audience reach and financial sustainability while supporting DCS's national education mission.

Transform themembership programme into a loyalty-driven engine focused on repeat engagement and brand advocacy, utilising innovative features and rewards to build adedicated community of supporters.

Ensure organisation's financial sustainability and commercial growth are in alignment with public mission and governance standards.

Job Requirements:

. Degree with 10 years of experience and at least5 years of management track record.

. Strong management skills to promote a healthy organisational culture, encourage teamwork and collaboration to meet company goals.

. Proven track record in change management and organisational design.

. Strong communications and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex partnerships within the government, defence community, and private sectors.

. Critical thinker and a competent user of data analytic tools and dashboards for business insights and decision making.

. Driven, performance focused and self-motivated.

. Knowledge and ability to adopt AI into business processes would be an advantage.
