What this job involves:
Responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of multiple engineering teams across the region with the objectives of safely, efficiently, and effectively operating building systems in a cost-effective manner. The Regional Engineering Lead must ensure the highest level of professionalism while meeting diverse client needs and maintaining a commitment to achieving 100% uptime across all managed facilities. Responsible for protecting and improving the value of clients assets region-wide and ensuring that building engineering systems continue to perform their intended function. The Regional Engineering Lead will implement and standardize reliability-based maintenance functions across multiple properties, driving consistency and excellence in engineering operations.
The incumbent executes comprehensive equipment inspection and monitoring programs across the regional portfolio, defines and implements maintenance best practices to improve overall mechanical equipment uptime, and continuously evaluates maintenance, operations and reliability methods to enhance effectiveness and maximize value-driven performance across all facilities.

You'll collaborate closely with site teams to ensure adherence to JLL and client safety measures and procedures. Building strong working relationships with clients and contractors is essential to your success. You'll work alongside facilities teams to manage key external and internal stakeholders effectively. You may support our procurement team in pre-qualifying contractors and ensuring compliance with established safety standards.
What this job involves
Overall Role
. Work with Account Director and act as Single point of contact for client and account management leadership for overall engineering including critical environment deliverables.
. Ensure that operational procedures developed to achieve best practise maintenance culture, are delivered and the critical planning of key client infrastructure reviewed for the best possible solution.
. Manage the Asset register accuracy and keep up to date using the JLL CMMS (Corrigo).
. Working with the Building Maintenance Planning will ensure PPMs are in place for all facilities with assets aligned to PPMs in line with scope.
. Asset Capture - validation and engagement with internal & external stakeholders. Manage the ongoing accuracy and updating of the client Asset Register.
. Must be able to accurately update key stakeholders on the status of the program at any given point in time.
Major Responsibilities
. Responsible for the delivery and review of Maintenance Plans for Building Engineering Assets across the portfolio
. Responsible for the currency of the asset management framework document on the account
. Ensure the Asset Management tools are operating in accordance with client and account team expectations and appropriate maintenance reporting is delivered, with key asset performance reporting provided in the required format.
. Responsible for the currency of the reliability centred asset management framework document on the account.
o Including the effective scheduling and allocation of preventative maintenance tasks have assets assigned, to support the delivering of the strategic objectives for the Entities.
. Responsible for the development/delivery of asset reports to Relationship Directors for their respective Entities as per the agreed timeframes/program, including but limited to:
o Ensure that planned and reactive work order, asset and life cycle reports are developed and communicated within the JLL account team FM team as defined by the Entity and senior JLL account members.
o Ensure the development of any capital works / Forward Works Plans are done so in line with client budgetary expectations and supported by defensible data analytics.
. Ensure the effective scheduling and allocation of preventative maintenance tasks have assets assigned, to support the delivering of the strategic objectives for the Entities.
. Oversees operation and maintenance of refrigeration, water cooling and air conditioning equipment boilers, heating, ventilating and hot water equipment pumps, valves, piping and filters and other mechanical and electrical equipment across multiple facilities. Reviews operational logs and performance metrics to ensure proper equipment operation region-wide and reports problems/malfunctions across the portfolio as needed.
. Coordinates and oversees contractor activities across multiple sites, ensuring consistent quality standards. Establishes regional performance metrics.
To apply you need to be / have:
Experience / Skills
At least five (5) years of experience in managing and delivering asset management and maintenance strategies for industrial environments.
Demonstrated skills in rigorous, fact-based analyses that drive creative problem solving, proposal preparation, and negotiations.
Persuasive written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong multi-tasking and organisational capabilities, with a high level of attention to detail.
Able to problem solve and to think strategically, with a common-sense approach and initiative when resolving issues.
Ability to prioritise workload in a high pressure, deadline driven work environment.
Electrical, mechanical and/or a related engineering/trade field.
Promotes open, constructive and collaborative relations with colleagues and clients.
Likes being part of a high performing team.
Computer literate.
