Chair board meetings and work closely with the CEO to develop strategy and ensure implementation of the agreed plans and actions.
Ensure good governance practices are in place, including effective management of risk, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and adherence to ethical standards.
Provide leadership to the board and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
Recruit and develop an effective board with a mix of skills, experience and diversity.
Ensure that the organization has adequate resources to achieve its goals and monitor financial performance.
Develop positive relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees and regulators.
Ensure that the organization is seen as a leader in its field and build a positive reputation through effective communication and engagement with stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor and above in Business Management, Finance or Mechanical Engineering.
At least 15-20 years of experience in managing an organisation.
Ability to inspire and motivate the board and stakeholders towards a common goal.
Strong strategic vision and the ability to drive the organisation forward.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and information to board members and other stakeholders.
Ability to navigate diplomatic situations and foster positive relationships within the organisation.
Sound judgement and decision-making abilities to make informed choices for the organisation.
Strategic thinking skills to anticipate future trends and plan for long-term success.
