ROCK Networks, a global content distributor specialising in linear Pay-TV channels, VOD, and various programming genres, is seeking a Director, Digital Partnerships & Distribution to join our team! ROCK Networks distributes content via Linear Pay-TV channels, branded and unbranded VOD, and FAST platforms across the globe. We have a multi-genre catalogue containing over 2,000 hours of content including natural history, documentary, lifestyles, movies and entertainment, short-form digital and pre-school kids programming. Rock Entertainment's channel business offers a portfolio of Media brands such as ROCK Entertainment, ROCK Action, ROCK Extreme, Global Trekker and ZooMoo.
Job Summary
Lead the development and execution of business development strategies to grow digital and streaming platform partnerships across assigned territories, driving profitable new business and strengthening client relationships to contribute to company growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to secure new digital and streaming platform partnerships in assigned markets, driving measurable revenue growth
- Identify and acquire new client accounts to expand the company's digital footprint and increase sales performance
- Manage assigned territories and client portfolios to optimize profitability through strategic planning and effective account management
- Conduct regular client and stakeholder visits to build and sustain strong, collaborative business relationships
- Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations to prospective clients, ensuring comprehensive pre- and post-sales support that enhances client satisfaction
- Collect, analyze, and interpret market data to recommend customized solutions that address client needs and maximize revenue opportunities
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and implement integrated project activities that deliver value-added solutions to clients
- Maintain accurate and current status reports and client records to ensure transparent communication and efficient account management
- Execute additional relevant tasks to support overall business objectives and contribute to team success
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of the media entertainment industry, media landscape, and marketing aspects specifically within the Digital, Streaming, and Social Media sectors in Asia
- Proven commercial experience of 8 to 10 years in Sales and/or Business Development roles, including business modelling and client engagement
- Proficient in using CRM systems to track and manage lead generation activities
- Experienced in PPC sales, including platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Shopping Campaigns, YouTube, Facebook Ads, or other paid channels
- Strong understanding of streaming and social media platforms and best practices for sales within these channels
- Experience in developing partnership opportunities with clearly defined deal parameters and outlined Return on Investment (ROI)
- Practical knowledge and experience in handling legal contracts and agreements related to business development
