About the Role

Our client is a leading public services company.

They are looking to hire a seasoned and forward-looking leader to join their team to lead the Corporate Planning & Innovation function. This leadership role will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's long-term growth and strategic direction so as to drive sustainable value creation and support the organization's mission to provide exceptional services to their customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of both short-term & long-term organization strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide insights, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership, board-level committees as well as prevailing government bodies.
• Establish and monitor key performance frameworks to track progress and guide strategic adjustments where necessary.
• Oversee annual business planning cycle and strategic workplans, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Champion strong governance, including enterprise risk management, business continuity, and compliance.
• Identify strategic innovation opportunities, gaps, and solutions to foster growth while building an ongoing culture that translates ideas into impactful initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 12-15 years of direct working experience in a strategic planning or corporate development function.
• Possessing prior public sector experience will be advantageous.
• Strong in systems thinking, with complex multi-industry and multi-stakeholder experience
• Strong team management and leadership experience to mentor, coach and guide team members
• Excellent communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
