Business Development Manager (Finance & Capital Markets)

33Club is a private members network in Singapore offering exclusive access to curated investment opportunities, lifestyle experiences, and MAS-regulated VCC sub-funds. We are expanding our leadership team and seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across our investment and membership ecosystem.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven professional with strong experience in finance, capital markets, and fundraising to lead our Business Development department. This individual will be responsible for raising capital for our MAS-regulated VCC sub-funds, driving strategic partnerships, and acquiring high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) into our 33Club Life Membership network.

This is an independent, high-ownership role-ideal for someone who can strategize, plan, and execute without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising & Capital Markets

. Raise capital for 33Club's MAS-regulated VCC sub-funds from HNWIs, family offices, private bankers, wealth managers, and institutions.

. Present fund mandates, performance updates, and investment opportunities to prospective investors.

. Maintain compliance awareness and ensure fundraising activities align with MAS regulations.


2. Membership Acquisition (HNW & UHNW)

. Leverage personal network to onboard high-net-worth individuals as 33Club Life Members.

. Build and manage relationships with key wealth clients, partners, and investment communities.

. Develop business strategies to increase membership engagement and retention.


3. Partnerships & Strategic Alliances

. Establish relationships with banks, private wealth teams, corporate groups, chambers, associations, lifestyle networks, and investment communities in Singapore.

. Identify opportunities for collaboration, co-hosting events, and referral channels.

4. Business Development Planning

. Develop and execute business development strategies and revenue-growth plans.

. Prepare reports, forecasts, and KPI tracking for management.

. Work independently to drive outcomes with minimal supervision.

Requirements

. 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, capital markets, private banking, asset management, or investment advisory.

. Proven track record in fundraising, capital introduction, investor relations, or business development within the financial sector.

. Existing and active network of HNWIs, family offices, and investment partners.

. Strong understanding of MAS regulatory frameworks, VCC structures, and fund-raising guidelines.

. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

. Independent, reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working without a large team structure.

Preferred Attributes

. Prior experience working with VCC funds or regulated investment products.

. Strong network across Singapore's financial institutions, associations, chambers, and business groups.

. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build systems, processes, and strategies from scratch.
