About the Role
We are seeking a Director of APAC to join our global team. Remotely based in Singapore and reporting to the SVP International of Peanuts World Wide, you will be responsible for driving and executing our APAC strategy with our key stakeholders (our local Licensing Agency CPLG, Licensees, and key stakeholders around the world).
This includes working closely with the local agency to ensure that the business is on track and growing, developing business growth strategies including key accounts to target, finding white space and growing existing businesses. You will also be collaborating cross divisionally to build programs that support Peanuts in key markets and you will define the future strategy for APAC for the Peanuts brand in ways that connect fans with authentic programs/products in impactful ways.

Please note this role will require travel throughout the region and to North America to support global design innovation and alignment.
What you will do:
Business Leadership & Strategy
- Own regional performance and act as the Peanuts brand lead in APAC (ex-China), setting direction and driving execution
- Develop and deliver annual budgets and long-range growth plans in partnership with the SVP
- Define and implement territory strategies to expand brand visibility, distribution, and revenue
Commercial Growth & Partnerships
- Identify and unlock whitespace opportunities and build scalable business models
- Lead complex deal negotiations, licensee selection, and renewal due diligence (financial, product, strategic fit)
- Strengthen and maximize agent and partner relationships across markets
Execution & Operations
- Provide direction to local agents and teams to ensure strong execution of global and regional initiatives
- Oversee information flow and tools across the ecosystem (agents, internal teams), including materials, reporting, and best-practice sharing
- Maintain centralized systems, documentation, and processes to support operational excellence
Location-Based Entertainment Support(LBE)
- As LBE is a key driver of growth in the region, you will work with Peanuts SVP and VP LBE to identify and support LBE partnerships in the region, especially with regards to merchandise and cross-promotion..
- As the feet on the ground, help to ensure brand integrity and quality control through regular reviews and stakeholder alignment
Brand & Market Development
- Partner with global and local teams to build marketing tentpoles and activations that drive retail success
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and licensee performance to inform strategy and optimize results
- Working back with the brand team in NYC, be the point person for approving and developing social media presence in key markets.
What you need:
- Typically 10+ years of results-driven licensing experience in the region, ideally in character licensing space
- Empathetic leadership style with proven success leading and managing high-performing, passionate and engaged teams
- Proven success with negotiating long-term deals and branding strategies that support sustainable and incremental growth
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior level executives and decisionmakers across the company, especially remotely.
- Thrives in a fast paced, changing environment that necessitates working on many projects simultaneously
- Passion for Peanuts Worldwide brand, kids and family entertainment familiarity and understanding of the mindset of target audience
- Motivated self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative, creativity, and excellent work ethic
- Strong organizational skills and ability to think strategically to complete tasks in a timely fashion
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem solver that acts decisively and demonstrates good judgement
- College degree, preferably in Business or related field
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are all required)
- Able and willing to travel as required
