We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who can take ownership of the design direction for client projects and translate business requirements into strong, practical, and user-friendly digital experiences.
What We Are Looking For
We are specifically looking for candidates who:
- Have a strong web/UI design portfolio that can be shared during the application process.
- Have hands-on experience designing corporate websites, web applications, portals, and responsive digital platforms.
- Preferably have prior experience working in a digital, creative, web development, or technology agency environment.
- Are confident working directly with project managers, developers, and clients.
- Are proficient in Figma and modern UI/UX design workflows.
- Understand how to use AI tools to improve and accelerate design work, including ideation, research, content structure, visual exploration, prototyping, or design workflow optimisation.
- Can manage multiple client projects while maintaining strong design quality and meeting deadlines.

Role Overview
As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end UI/UX design process across websites, web applications, portals, and mobile-responsive platforms.
You will work closely with clients, project managers, and developers to understand business requirements, plan user journeys, develop wireframes and prototypes, and deliver polished high-fidelity designs ready for development.
This is a hands-on role requiring both strong visual design ability and practical UX thinking.
Key Responsibilities
UI/UX Design
- Lead UI/UX design for websites, web applications, portals, dashboards, and mobile-responsive platforms.
- Develop user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Create clean, modern, visually strong and user-friendly interfaces.
- Ensure designs work effectively across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Apply UX principles to improve usability, navigation, engagement, conversion, and accessibility.
- Balance visual creativity with practical development and business requirements.
Client & Requirement Understanding
- Participate in client discussions to understand business objectives, users, content requirements, functional requirements, and project goals.
- Translate business and functional requirements into clear and practical design solutions.
- Present design concepts and rationale confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Gather, interpret, and incorporate client feedback effectively.
- Recommend improvements where existing client requirements may negatively affect usability or user experience.
Design Systems & Developer Handoff
- Build and maintain design systems, UI components, style guides, and reusable design libraries.
- Prepare organised and developer-friendly Figma files.
- Provide clear specifications and design handoff to development teams.
- Collaborate closely with developers throughout implementation.
- Conduct UI reviews and quality checks to ensure developed pages accurately reflect approved designs.
AI-Assisted Design Workflow
- Use appropriate AI tools to support and improve the design process.
- Apply AI for areas such as:design ideation and visual exploration,UX research and user-flow development,content hierarchy and information architecture,generation of draft design concepts or visual references,rapid prototyping,productivity and workflow optimisation.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs critically and ensure final designs meet professional design standards.
- Explore new AI tools and recommend practical ways to improve Orfeostory's design workflow.
Project Collaboration
- Work closely with project managers, developers, content teams, and business stakeholders.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects at different stages of design and development.
- Maintain design quality while working within agreed project timelines.
- Provide guidance and feedback to junior designers or interns where required.
- Contribute to improving internal design processes, templates, and standards.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure designs consider accessibility, usability, responsiveness, and web best practices.
- Stay updated with current UI/UX trends, digital design standards, and emerging technologies.
- Review existing client websites and digital products and recommend UX, branding, conversion, and interface improvements.
- Maintain consistent quality across client-facing deliverables.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in UI/UX, web design, digital product design, or related fields.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating actual website, web application, portal, or digital interface design work.
- Strong proficiency in Figma.
- Good understanding of responsive web design and developer handoff.
- Strong visual design fundamentals, including typography, spacing, hierarchy, layout, and colour usage.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into effective digital experiences.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage several projects concurrently.
- Experience working in a digital/web/creative agency is highly preferred.
- Practical experience using AI tools within a professional design workflow is highly preferred.
