Digital Transformation Intern

Role Overview

As an Automation & Business Intelligence Intern, you will play a key role in driving operational efficiency by transforming raw data into actionable insights and automating manual workflows. You will work across various departments to identify bottlenecks and deploy low-code solutions that streamline business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI to track departmental KPIs and performance metrics.
• Workflow Automation: Identify repetitive manual tasks and develop automated solutions using Power Automate to improve speed and accuracy.
• Custom App Solutions: Assist in building internal-use mobile or web applications via Power Apps to simplify data entry and information sharing.
• Data Synthesis: Connect and transform data from various sources (Excel, SharePoint, SQL, etc.) to ensure a single source of truth for reporting.
• Process Analysis: Collaborate with department stakeholders to document current workflows and propose digital transformation improvements.
• User Support: Provide basic documentation and training to staff on how to use the newly developed tools and dashboards.

Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• BI Tools: Strong foundational knowledge of Power BI (including DAX and Power Query).
• Power Platform: Familiarity with Power Automate (cloud flows) and Power Apps (canvas apps) is highly preferred.
• Logic & Data: High proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
• Problem Solving: A builder mindset—someone who enjoys finding creative ways to make technology work for people.
