Job Description

The Technical Manager (Generative AI) will lead end-to-end technical development and integration of applications, with a strong focus on generative AI capabilities such as LLMs, prompt engineering, multimodal AI, and AI-driven automation.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & AI Integration

. Lead architecture and development of applications enhanced with Generative AI
. Build and maintain AI pipelines for text, image, and code generation
. Develop prompt engineering frameworks and best practices
. Integrate multiple AI models and APIs, ensuring performance and cost-efficiency
. Set standards for responsible and ethical AI

Technical Leadership

. Guide development teams in building AI-enabled applications
. Recommend AI models, frameworks, and tools
. Implement AI governance and security requirements
. Lead AI model tuning, evaluation, and deployment

Project Management

. Drive full SDLC and oversee cross-functional project delivery
. Implement agile methodologies and MLOps practices

Innovation & Strategy

. Identify opportunities for AI integration and application modernisation
. Develop technical roadmaps and evaluate emerging AI technologies

Stakeholder Management

. Translate business requirements into technical specifications
. Manage vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

Education:
. Degree in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or related fields
. AI/ML certifications are advantageous

Technical Expertise:
. 5+ years in application development and technical leadership
. 2+ years in generative AI technologies
. Strong understanding of LLMs, vector DBs, RAG, prompt engineering
. Experienced in Python, cloud services, microservices, and API design
. Familiar with AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face)
. Knowledge of AI governance, model monitoring, and ethical frameworks

Professional Skills:
. Proven leadership in AI/ML or technical projects
. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
. Experience in agile practices and MLOps
