Digital Transformation Executive (AI & Logistics)

Department : Strategy, Technology & Innovation
Reports to: Business Director.

Role Purpose

The Digital Transformation Executive will be part of JJ Express's core transformation team, working at the intersection of AI adoption, logistics operations, and enterprise systems. This role is designed for a high-potential graduate who wants to build real AI-driven operating systems, not just dashboards or pilots. You will help design, implement, and scale AI-enabled workflows across logistics, finance, HR, and compliance-contributing directly to JJ Express's evolution into a tech-enabled, EV-first, and internationally scalable logistics platform.

This is a long-term role with exposure to enterprise transformation, AI adoption, and platform building, working closely with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI & Digital Transformation Execution

  • Support the design and rollout of AI-enabled automation workflows across logistics and corporate functions.

  • Assist in deploying agentic AI systems that replace manual review and reconciliation processes.

  • Translate operational problems into structured AI use cases with clear success metrics.

2. Logistics Technology & Systems Enablement

  • Support the build and adoption of JJ Express's multi-layer Transport Management System (TMS).

  • Work on system integrations across TMS, ERP, fleet management, and payroll systems.

  • Assist in API-based integrations with enterprise customers to enable seamless order and data exchange.

3. Process Digitisation & Productivity Uplift

  • Map end-to-end workflows across operations, finance, HR, and compliance.

  • Identify manual bottlenecks and redesign processes using automation and AI.

  • Quantify impact through metrics such as man-hours saved, error reduction, and processing time improvement.

4. Data, Insights & Decision Intelligence

  • Build simple dashboards and reports to track adoption, performance, and ROI of digital initiatives.

  • Support leadership with data-driven insights on operational efficiency, cost-to-serve, and compliance risk.

5. Transformation & Capability Building

  • Work directly with the Business Director on strategic transformation initiatives.

  • Support pilots and scale-ups across new logistics verticals (Q-commerce, pharma, cold chain).

  • Contribute to internal documentation, SOPs, and playbooks to enable future regional rollout.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education

  • Fresh graduate or 2 years of experience in Digital Transformation Programmes/Projects.
  • Degree in: Computer Science / Engineering, Business Analytics / Industrial Systems Engineering, Supply Chain / Operations / Information Systems

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong interest in AI adoption, automation, and digital transformation

  • Analytical and structured thinker comfortable with ambiguity

  • Able to bridge business problems and technical solutions

  • Hands-on mindset with strong ownership and learning agility

    Technical Exposure (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with AI tools (LLM APIs, workflow automation tools, Agentic AI workflow integrations)

  • Basic Python / SQL / data analysis skills

  • Interest in logistics, operations, or complex systems
