Pearl Engineering Solutions Pte. Ltd. was established in 1994 in Singapore to serve the automotive and health care markets with complex plastic solutions and subassemblies. Strategic merger of Ying Shing and Fischer Tech in 2017 was borne from a common interest in innovative technologies and leading-edge plastics solutions. The synergy created by both companies drove advancements in processes, precision, cosmetics and engineered molding solutions.

This growth is driving the need for an experienced individual to fill this new, high-profile position as a Digital Transformation Data Support. This position reports to the Transformation Director. We are looking for a hands-on and motivated self-starter who is passionate about using data to help us measure every area of the business and influence decision-making. The successful candidate must be able to roll-up his/her sleeves, and work directly with very large datasets and different departments in PES. He/she will be passionate about their work, detail-oriented, highly analytical and have excellent problem-solving skills. He/she will be and expert at working with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them. He/she will possess good communication and project management skills, able to communicate complex business insights; both verbally and in writing; in a clear and precise manner.

Traineeship Responsibilities

· Bridging the gap between IT & Operations in PES via Data Mapping Works.

· This position will be a contract position (1 year) and with the possibility to be converted to permanent employee.

Required Qualifications

· Degree major in Digital Transformation, Business Analytics, Computer Science is preferred.

· Effective verbal and written communication skill. (Mandarin & English- Candidate will be required to liaise with colleagues based in China/ Hong Kong)

Good to Have

· Intern experience or academic course on business transformation program.

· Experience with visualization tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI or Qlik Sense etc.

· Experience with EMS, Manufacturing Test Background, Manufacturing Factory Background.

· EMS knowledge

Eligibility Criteria for SGUnitedTraineeships:

•Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; or

•SC or PR graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from ITEs, polytechnics, universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or

•SC or PR graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.
