We are seeking a strong technology professional with 10 15 years of experience for the role of Digital Service Manager to lead the planning, project implementation, and the continuous development of SP Group's Data and Artificial Intelligence Platform (DAP). This role is a senior technology delivery position responsible for translating enterprise digital and data strategies into practical, high-impact platform capabilities and AI-enabled business outcomes.
Reporting to the Program Director, the role holder will not only oversee the end-to-end delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement of the DAP, but will also be required to work closely with business units, engineering, infrastructure and cybersecurity teams, risk, audit and compliance teams, across all levels of stakeholders. The role requires strong judgement, structured execution, and the ability to influence across organisational boundaries.
Your work will help digitize and optimize the entire facet of SP Group's operations, from asset management, customer service, sustainability solutions and level-up productivity in day-to-day activity across the various corporate functions as well as within SP Digital development process.
What You'll Do:
Strategy Execution & Platform Roadmap
- Translate SP Group's digital, data, and AI strategies into a clear platform roadmap, delivery plan, and prioritised use cases.
- Develop medium to long-term Data & AI platform capabilities in partnership with senior stakeholders and technology leaders. Own and organize the DAP roadmap into a multi-phased delivery schedule balancing speed, security and business opportunities.
- Assess emerging data and AI technologies and recommend practical, value-driven adoption opportunities.
Platform Delivery & Lifecycle Management
- Lead and coordinate large scale end-to-end delivery lifecycle of the Data & AI Platform, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch optimisation across internal and external delivery teams
- Ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned to agreed outcomes, working closely with engineering and delivery teams.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), release readiness, and operational handover.
Governance, Risk & Quality Management
- Support the establishment and enforcement of platform governance frameworks, including data standards, security, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor delivery risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating where appropriate with clear mitigation plans.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and regulatory obligations.
Stakeholder & Senior Management Engagement
- Act as the primary engagement lead for business units and functional stakeholders on DAP- related initiatives.
- Facilitate steering committee and senior working group discussions, framing issues, options, and recommendations.
- Provide regular, structured updates to senior management on progress, risks, dependencies, and value delivered.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Coordination
- Lead a cross functional team across Data Science, Data Engineering, IT Security, Digital Development, Software Engineering (in-house and partners), and Business Units.
- Bridge business and technical perspectives to ensure shared understanding and effective execution.
- Provide guidance to project managers, product owners, and delivery teams aligned to platform objectives.
Adoption, Change Management & Capability Enablement
- Drive user adoption and change management, ensuring the platform is embedded into business-as-usual operations.
- Oversee the development of training materials, user guides, and onboarding programmes.
- Support initiatives to improve data literacy and AI awareness across relevant teams.
Continuous Improvement & Value Delivery
- Identify opportunities to enhance platform functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Ensure AI and analytics initiatives are tied to clear business outcomes such as asset reliability, productivity gains, cost optimisation, and service quality.
- Track and report on benefits realisation and key performance indicators.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1015 years of experience in Digital Platforms, Data, Analytics, or large-scale Enterprise Technology initiatives.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programmes or products in large organisations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior managers and department heads.
- Experience working within structured delivery or governance frameworks (e.g. Agile, PMP).
