JOB SUMMARY
The Digital Sales Engineer supports the commercialization of high efficiency HVAC fan technologies and customized digital energy optimization solutions across Southeast Asia, with a strong focus on Singapore's regulated environment. This position partners with consultants, M&E engineers, OEMs, and facility owners to deliver technical insights, regulatory aligned proposals, and digital value demonstrations that drive energy savings and operational efficiency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Pre‑Sales& System Design
. Translate customer requirements into optimized fan selections and digital system configurations.
. Align proposals with Singapore's energy efficiency standards such as SS 530:2024.
. Ensure compliance with BCA's Code for Environmental Sustainability of Buildings.
Digital Solutions & Energy‑Savings Demonstration
. Conduct energy base line assessments using digital dashboards.
. Present ROI simulations aligned with Green Mark 2021 requirements.
. Support customers in meeting BCA Periodic Energy Audit obligations.
Regional Sales Enablement (SEA)
. Deliver virtual audits, online demos, and cross‑border technical consultations.
. Support regional regulatory and market adaptation.
. Locate and develop specific sales opportunities and plan specific sales approaches.
Customer Onboarding & Technical Support
. Support commissioning of fan and digital systems.
. Train customers on dashboards and optimization workflows.
. Make regular sales calls and visit existing major accounts and establish contact with new accounts.
. Organize and conduct effective presentations to customers.
. The scope of responsibilities may be altered from time to time and as required by the company.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
. Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
. 3+ years HVAC/energy‑efficiency experience.
. Familiarity with BCA regulations and Singapore Standards.
JOB-RELATED SKILLS & PRE-REQUISITES
. Experience with consultants, OEMs, and M&E contractors in SEA.
. Knowledge of BMS/BAS integration and energy audits.
. Good command of English, speaking and writing and computer literacy.
. Results oriented with the ability to define problems, exhibit sound judgement, and take initiative to develop alternative solutions rationally and independently.
. Ability to work with others in an effective manner, ensuring quotes are completed and submitted on time to customers
. Excellent internal and external customer focus and comprehension.
