Digital & Research Intern

Role Summary

Maintain the PPAA website and social media platforms (LinkedIn, FB, Instagram) - Consulting, Academy, and Publishing - by handling digital content, research, marketing, and coordination tasks. This role suits a student or recent graduate who is tech-savvy, organised, and eager to gain hands-on exposure to ASEAN-focused policy, business, and publishing work.

The contract is for 6 months and is extendable by another 3 months based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. PPAA Academy

• Upload and manage course content on Udemy and PPAA Academy platforms.
• Coordinate online cohorts, registrations, and certificates.
• Edit and schedule social media posts and newsletters promoting upcoming courses.

2. PPAA Publishing

• Assist with layout checks and metadata updates for new titles.
• Upload books to Amazon KDP, Lulu, and IngramSpark manage basic analytics.
• Research authors, reviewers, and events for outreach.
• Maintain the PPAA website and social media platforms (LinkedIn, FB, Instagram).

3. Consulting & Business Affairs

• Support research for ASEAN policy and business trend reports.
• Update stakeholder contact lists and maintain CRM entries.
• Prepare short slide decks or briefs for meetings and events.

4. Digital & Admin

• Maintain PPAA websites and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
• Help design simple visuals or infographics in Canva.
• Handle file organisation and shared-drive maintenance.

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Communications, Business, Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Proficient with Canva, Microsoft Office / Google Suite basic video editing a plus.
• Good writing skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in ASEAN, public policy, or digital publishing preferred.
