Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Digital Team, including developers, product managers, and subject matter experts, to understand new and existing digital solutions.
  • Design, write, update, and maintain comprehensive user guides, how-to articles, and other documentation for our internal and external users.
  • Translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience.
  • Proofread and edit documentation for clarity, grammar, consistency, and accuracy before publication.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining documentation within our content management systems, specifically utilizing SharePoint for document storage and management.
  • Gather feedback from users and team members to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation standards and best practices.
  • Assist in coordinating various digital projects, including scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
  • Support the project manager or team lead in organizing project documentation, resources, and maintaining project schedules.
  • Help facilitate communication between different teams involved in digital projects to ensure smooth information flow.
  • Assist in compiling and delivering status reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. (need)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and explain them clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Familiarity with documentation tools or content management systems, particularly SharePoint, is a plus.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced digital environment.
