Role Description: Digital Marketing / E-Commerce Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing / E-Commerce Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing digital marketing strategies that drive online sales, enhance brand visibility, and optimize the customer experience within e-commerce platforms. This role involves managing various digital marketing channels, such as SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and affiliate marketing, while focusing on increasing traffic, improving conversion rates, and boosting revenue on e-commerce websites.

In addition, this role requires a strong understanding of online consumer behavior, digital analytics, and e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar systems. The Digital Marketing / E-Commerce Marketing Manager works closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, design, and customer service to create integrated marketing campaigns and drive growth across digital touchpoints.

This is a dynamic and hands-on role, perfect for someone who is passionate about e-commerce, digital marketing, and data-driven strategies to drive online business performance.

Qualifications
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Media, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree or additional certifications in Digital Marketing or E-commerce is a plus but not required.
  • Skills:
  • E-commerce Marketing Expertise: Understanding of the complete e-commerce lifecycle, from driving traffic to optimizing the checkout process and enhancing the customer journey.
  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Strong knowledge of online marketing tactics, including SEO, PPC, affiliate marketing, retargeting, and content marketing.
  • E-commerce Platforms: Familiarity with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce and how they integrate with digital marketing strategies.
  • Social Media Marketing: Experience with social media marketing across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest to increase traffic and engagement.
  • Email Marketing & Automation: Expertise in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo) and creating campaigns to nurture leads and retain customers.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Ability to analyze website performance and implement strategies (e.g., A/B testing, landing page optimization) to increase conversions and sales.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other tools to measure and optimize performance.
  • Creative & Content Development: Ability to oversee content creation (e.g., product descriptions, visuals, blog posts) and collaborate with designers and writers.
  • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and preferences to create targeted, personalized marketing campaigns.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively convey ideas, strategies, and results to internal teams and leadership.
  • Technical Skills:
  • E-commerce & CMS: Proficient with e-commerce platforms and content management systems (CMS) to manage product listings, content updates, and marketing integrations.
  • Google Analytics & Marketing Tools: Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, and SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
  • Email Marketing Software: Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact).
  • A/B Testing & CRO Tools: Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) and conversion optimization strategies.
  • Excel & Data Analysis: Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis, tracking KPIs, and performance reporting.
