Job purpose
To install, troubleshoot, strip parts and fix igloohome products according to the company's standards
Duties and responsibilities
Travel to customers homes to install or help troubleshoot igloohome products
- Provide product training to the customers and test the lock's functionality after the installation
- Advise customers on products that meet their needs
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, always portraying the company in a
- positive light
- Identify opportunities to delight customers during the visit by going above and beyond
- the initial customer request (upselling key tags, stickers)
- Share customer feedback and insights with fellow field technicians and other teams
- Review igloohome products and provide helpful guides for igloohome use
- Maintain a high level of inventory data fidelity
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all administrative processes
Qualifications
- Willingness to work with power/hand tools, handling of low/line voltage, andinstallations that may require home modifications (i.e., door lock, TV mounting)
- Flexibility with full-time schedule, including shift assignments on weekends/evenings
- Possesses a valid driver's license
- At least 2 years experience in door carpentry or lock installations preferred
- Candidates without experience but willing to learn on the job are welcome to apply
Working Condition
- May work in client's sites
- 1 day off in a week
Key Accountabilities
- Ensures that locks are installed/repaired in working condition according to the standards set by igloohome
- Available to do adhoc or last minute appointments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Root cause analysis on lock issues
- Works well with all departments, co-operating and co-ordinating works to ensure that all equipment is optimised and running efficiently.
