Covexa works closely with leading insurers and technology partners, leveraging the Fermion Merimen insurance platform to drive digital-led insurance distribution and programme management.

The initial focus is on cyber insurance solutions, with a longer-term mandate to expand into additional insurance lines and adjacent businesses.

What applies to you

We are looking for an experienced insurance professional to lead and grow Covexa's cyber insurance business in Singapore. This role is both strategic and hands-on. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the cyber insurance programme, driving sales and distribution, managing insurer and technology partnerships, and progressively taking ownership of additional business lines under Covexa.

This role suits a high-calibre insurance agent, broker or manager who is commercially driven, comfortable with technology and motivated to build a business rather than simply manage a book. As Covexa's first hire, this role will contribute meaningfully to how the business, culture and growth strategy take shape over time.

What you will do

• Own the cyber insurance programme, including product positioning, pricing discussions, underwriting alignment, and go-to-market strategy
• Drive new business and revenue growth using the Fermion Merimen insurance platform
• Engage corporates, SMEs, brokers, and strategic partners to originate and close deals
• Position Covexa as a technology-enabled insurance partner, not a traditional agency
• Build strong relationships with insurers, partners, and key stakeholders
• Play a key role in expanding into new insurance lines and shaping Covexa's long-term growth
• Lead and grow Covexa's cyber insurance business in Singapore, from product build to market launch and scale

What you will need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in general insurance, financial lines, cyber insurance or commercial insurance
• Licensed insurance agent or broker under Singapore regulatory requirements
• Proven track record in sales, portfolio growth, programme management or business development
• Good understanding of cyber insurance products, risk frameworks and corporate client needs
• Comfortable working with technology platforms, digital workflows and data-driven processes
• Strong interest in learning and mastering insurance technology platforms and digital distribution models
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build from zero to one
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
