Responsibilities:
- Plan, create and publish engaging bilingual content (English + Chinese) tailored for foreigners learning basic Chinese across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
- Develop and manage content calendars aligned with course launches, campaigns, and seasonal learning themes.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities, including posting, community engagement, and responding to comments/messages.
- Build and nurture an online learning community by engaging with parents, students, and adult learners.
- Develop content focused on real-life scenarios, such as:
- Workplace communication (meetings, small talk)
- Daily conversations (ordering food, shopping, transport
- Simplify Chinese language concepts into easy-to-understand, beginner-friendly formats
- Produce short-form videos (TikTok/Reels) teaching practical phrases, pronunciation, and cultural tips
- Adapt content for different audiences:
- Expats & working adults (practical usage)
- Beginners with no Chinese background
- Children (7+ years old) with fun, visual learning content
- Collaborate with the team to ensure content is culturally relevant and easy for non-native speakers to understand.
- Support campaigns aimed at increasing app downloads from foreign users.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
- 2-3years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation(fresh graduates with strong portfolios may be considered)
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, email marketing, and analytics tools
- Strong proficiency in English, with the ability to create clear and engaging content
- Proficiency in Mandarin to create and manage Chinese-language content for target audiences
- Experience managing social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Basic skills in short-form video creation (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels)
- Ability to create content that is simple and accessible for non-native Chinese speakers
- Good understanding of social media trends and audience engagement strategies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in education, e-learning, or language learning content is a plus.
- Experience creating content for international or expat audiences is a plus.
