THE ROLE
AMG is seeking a Digital Business & Technology Supervisor - Solutions to lead the day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of AMG's business solutions, including Oracle NetSuite (ERP), PTC FlexPLM (PLM), Power BI and related business applications and integrations.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, reporting directly to the Director of Digital Business & Technology.
The role is responsible for supervising Solutions team members, managing business demand and priorities, and ensuring reliable delivery, governance and continuous improvement of AMG's business solutions.
The Supervisor will work across DBT, business stakeholders and external technology partners to ensure business requirements are understood, solutions are appropriately delivered, issues are brought to closure, and people, processes, data and technology remain aligned with AMG's business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership and Supervision
. Supervise and coordinate Solutions team members across ERP, PLM, BI and related business applications.
. Establish clear ownership, priorities and expected outcomes for operational activities, incidents, requests, changes and projects.
. Allocate work and balance team capacity across operational and project demands.
. Coach and develop team members according to their roles, capabilities and development needs.
. Provide regular performance feedback and support capability development and progression.
. Ensure appropriate communication, documentation, knowledge sharing and follow-through across the Solutions team.
. Build team capability while reducing dependency on individual knowledge and single points of failure.
Solutions Operations and Delivery
. Oversee the day-to-day operation and support of Oracle NetSuite, PTC FlexPLM, Power BI and related business applications and integrations.
. Ensure incidents, requests, data issues and workflow disruptions are appropriately assigned, investigated, communicated and brought to closure.
. Act as the management escalation point for significant or recurring business-system issues.
. Engage appropriate specialists and external technology partners when deeper functional or technical expertise is required.
. Monitor operational performance, recurring issues and business impact across the Solutions portfolio.
. Ensure appropriate operational documentation, support knowledge and continuity arrangements are maintained.
Business Partnership and Demand Management
. Work with Customer Service and Operations, Finance, Product Development, Materials, QA/QC and other business teams to understand business needs, issues and improvement opportunities.
. Ensure business requirements are identified, understood, consolidated and communicated before solutions or changes are progressed.
. Assess and prioritize business demand based on business value, urgency, risk, dependencies and available capacity.
. Ensure system and process changes address the underlying business requirement rather than isolated symptoms.
. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding priorities, decisions, progress, risks and expected outcomes.
. Support user adoption through communication, training coordination and business engagement.
Change, Projects and Solution Governance
. Oversee Solutions change requests and projects from requirements through assessment, testing, implementation and stabilization.
. Ensure business requirements, scope, ownership, impacts and expected outcomes are clearly defined.
. Coordinate internal resources, business stakeholders and external technology partners for solution delivery.
. Ensure appropriate testing, user acceptance testing, approvals, implementation planning and post-implementation validation are completed.
. Review cross-system impacts and dependencies across ERP, PLM, BI and related business applications.
. Escalate significant scope, resource, risk or business-priority decisions to the Director of DBT when required.
Data Governance, Risk and Compliance
. Ensure appropriate data ownership, accuracy, approval and governance controls are maintained across business solutions.
. Ensure system usage and changes comply with established governance, security, audit and business-control requirements.
. Monitor recurring data, process and system-control issues and ensure corrective actions are established.
. Support segregation of duties, access control and other relevant application-control requirements.
. Ensure appropriate documentation and evidence are maintained for audit, compliance and customer-readiness requirements.
. Identify and communicate significant solution, data and operational risks to the Director of DBT.
Vendor and Partner Management
. Coordinate external technology partners supporting ERP, PLM, BI and related business applications.
. Ensure vendor activities have clearly defined requirements, ownership, deliverables and expected outcomes.
. Monitor vendor issues, actions and delivery commitments through to closure.
. Review vendor recommendations with appropriate DBT specialists and business stakeholders before implementation.
. Escalate significant vendor performance, commercial or delivery concerns to the Director of DBT.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
. Provide regular updates to the Director of DBT covering operational performance, business demand, projects, risks, priorities and team capacity.
. Consolidate information from the Solutions team into clear management-level status updates and recommendations.
. Identify recurring issues and opportunities to reduce manual work, duplicated activities and data inconsistencies.
. Promote standardization, automation and effective use of AMG's business solutions.
. Drive continuous improvement across people, processes, data and technology within the Solutions function.
. Ensure agreed actions, decisions and improvements are followed through to measurable outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
. Approximately 5-8 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise business applications, including ERP, PLM, BI or related systems.
. Demonstrated experience leading, supervising or coordinating application support or business-systems team members.
. Experience supporting Oracle NetSuite, PTC FlexPLM, Power BI or comparable enterprise platforms is strongly preferred.
. Experience managing business requirements, system changes, testing, user acceptance testing and implementation activities.
. Experience working with external technology partners and cross-functional business stakeholders.
. Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, product development or multi-site business environments is preferred.
Skills and Capabilities
. Strong functional understanding of enterprise business applications and their role in end-to-end business processes.
. Good understanding of ERP, PLM, BI, system integration and data-governance concepts.
. Strong people leadership, coaching and workload-management capability.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distinguish between business, process, data and system issues.
. Ability to understand and consolidate complex information and communicate clear priorities, decisions and next steps.
. Strong stakeholder-management and business-communication skills.
. Ability to manage multiple operational, change and project priorities.
. Good understanding of system governance, approvals, access controls, testing, audit and compliance requirements.
. Good written and spoken English for communication with regional and global teams.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
. Experience supporting manufacturing, footwear, supply chain or product development environments is preferred.
. Experience working across multiple countries, business functions and technology partners is preferred.
. Chinese language capability is an advantage for supporting AMG's China operations.
. Relevant system certifications or formal training in Oracle NetSuite, PTC FlexPLM, Power BI or related platforms are advantageous.
. Willingness to travel approximately 10-15% across AMG-ASIA locations when required.
