Data Analytics Senior Consultant / Manager – Digital Assurance
Data sits at the heart of every organization and is relied upon for all aspects of operations, analysis, decision-making, reporting, and regulatory requirements. Analytics is an exciting and thriving area at Deloitte. Our practitioners work with leading global, regional, and local clients where audit analytics makes the difference by providing actionable insights, bringing efficiency, and driving innovation. Our Analytics team operates as a multi-disciplinary team within the Audit & Assurance function, supporting clients across a range of industries.
As a Senior Consultant or Manager, you will lead a team of analysts, owning the end-to-end delivery of analytics engagements across a portfolio of clients. You will bring a strong commercial mindset alongside technical credibility — identifying where analytics can create value for clients, shaping the approach, and driving the quality of outcomes. You will be a key point of contact for senior client stakeholders, and play a central role in building Deloitte's analytics practice in Singapore — including the development of AI-powered solutions that push the boundaries of what analytics can deliver.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage a team of analysts and senior consultants across multiple concurrent engagements, ensuring consistent quality, on-time delivery, and strong team development.
- Own client relationships at the engagement level — managing expectations, navigating issues, and positioning Deloitte as a trusted analytics advisor.
- Translate complex business, audit, and risk challenges into well-scoped analytics solutions, guiding the team from problem definition through to delivery and communication of findings.
- Identify and develop opportunities for advisory work, contributing to proposals, RFP responses, and thought leadership that clearly articulate the value Deloitte can deliver.
- Provide technical oversight across Python, SQL, and Power BI workstreams, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and fit for purpose.
- Drive the development and adoption of analytics frameworks, methodologies, and reusable solutions that improve efficiency and quality across the practice.
- Apply deep knowledge of business processes, financial controls, and IT systems to design analytics approaches that surface meaningful risk insights for clients.
- Champion the application of AI and emerging technologies to enhance how the team works — identifying where these tools add genuine value and building team capability to use them effectively.
- Conceptualise, design, and develop AI-driven analytics solutions — working with the team to identify high-value use cases where AI can meaningfully enhance audit quality, risk detection, or client outcomes.
- Lead the planning and execution of client-facing training and capability-building initiatives.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the Audit & Assurance Analytics function, including tooling decisions, hiring, and practice development.
- Act as a mentor and coach to junior team members, fostering a high-performance, learning-oriented team culture.
What We're Looking For:
- Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Cyber Risk, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of working experience in data analytics, audit, risk, or advisory — with a demonstrated track record of leading teams and managing client engagements.
- Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL, with the ability to review and guide technical work.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau at a level sufficient to set standards and review deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to apply analytics to real business use cases — identifying the right problem, scoping the right solution, and communicating findings to senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness — able to identify opportunities, shape engagements, and contribute to business development with the support of senior leadership.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing engagement delivery in a professional services or equivalent environment.
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with experience presenting to senior client stakeholders and handling complex conversations.
- A forward-looking mindset on AI and technology — able to assess where emerging tools genuinely improve outcomes and guide the team accordingly.
