Job Description

Job Summary

The candidate will lead the strategy, distribution, optimization, and performance of content across BWF's OTT platforms, driving audience growth, monetization, and platform operations to maximize reach and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the client relationship with BWF to understand, prioritize, and meet their digital project needs effectively
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Rights-In, Production, Media) to ensure contractual obligations, content availability, and broadcast restrictions are managed for OTT platform operations
  • Manage vendor, client, and internal team relationships to coordinate subscription models, pricing, content, and marketing strategies and oversee their execution
  • Monitor platform functionality and vendor support to ensure continuous operation of streaming and OTT services
  • Support B2B and B2C platform operations and workflows to maintain seamless service delivery
  • Track platform analytics including storage, bandwidth, ingest, and transcoding, and optimize workflows to reduce operational costs
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop and implement content plans for live and VOD across OTT and social media platforms, determining appropriate content placement relative to paywalls
  • Ensure accurate ingestion and display of content elements (video, thumbnails, sponsored banners, metadata) across OTT platforms with quality control
  • Oversee and optimize content workflows to guarantee timely and accurate availability
  • Coordinate integration of commentary (AI-generated or remote) into OTT channels
  • Analyze viewership data, retention, engagement, and subscriber trends to develop actionable strategies for audience growth and content optimization
  • Optimize content placement to maximize audience engagement and retention
  • Track revenue performance and forecast growth opportunities across OTT platforms
  • Develop and execute promotional strategies using paid media, CRM, and organic campaigns, analyzing results and adjusting tactics accordingly
  • Collaborate with BWF to plan organic media strategies including social media content and cross-platform promotion
  • Plan and execute CRM campaigns such as newsletters, special offers, coupons, and in-app notifications to drive engagement, subscriptions, and retention
  • Manage vendors and agencies responsible for platform promotion and marketing activities
  • Identify and develop new reach and promotion opportunities, including partnerships with broadcasters, subscription bundles, and collaborations with digital platforms

Required competencies and certifications

  • Fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken (explicitly required for communication)

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in OTT, streaming, and/or digital media
  • Strong understanding of OTT platforms, workflows, and content management systems
  • Analytical skills to interpret audience data and derive actionable insights
  • Knowledge of monetization models including AVOD, SVOD, TVOD, and FAST channels
  • Understanding of the digital media and sports business industry
  • Project management and cross-team coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently with a structured and organized approach
