Job Summary
The Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies daily to ensure product quality and operational efficiency following standardized procedures.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot stamping dies to identify and resolve issues affecting production quality
- Set up stamping dies and perform self-inspections to verify product quality under mentor Toolmaker guidance
- Perform conversion and periodic maintenance on stamping dies to meet product quality standards with mentor Toolmaker support
- Record details of spare parts withdrawals accurately to maintain proper inventory accountability
- Document maintenance activities clearly to facilitate understanding of repair work performed
- Implement workplace 5S and safety precautions to maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support safety, quality, cost control, and efficiency in assigned areas
Requirements
- Nitec in Mechanical Technology or minimum secondary education
- Minimum 1 year of experience in stamping dies maintenance or production environment, or 2 years experience in tooling-related field
- Demonstrate responsibility, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
- Exhibit strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills
- Apply plans to control and maintain safety, quality, 5S, cost, and efficiency in assigned work areas
- Able to perform 3 rotating shifts
