You will play a supporting role in the daily operations of Ihsan Kidney Care dialysis centres by assisting the clinical team in delivering safe, compassionate patient care, while ensuring dialysis equipment and the treatment environment are prepared, clean, and well-maintained.
Support nurses in carrying out patient care activities before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
Assist with basic patient assessments, including observing vital signs, fluid status, and general patient comfort.
Provide hands-on assistance for patients personal care needs, including mobility, hygiene, and positioning during treatment.
Observe patients closely during dialysis sessions and promptly highlight any unusual symptoms or concerns to the nursing team.
Assist during dialysis procedures such as cannulation preparation and needle removal, under supervision and in line with centre protocols.
Respond appropriately during dialysis-related incidents or emergencies by following established procedures and escalating to nursing staff immediately.
Prepare dialysis machines prior to treatment, including setup and priming, in accordance with operational guidelines.
Carry out cleaning and disinfection of dialysis machines, equipment, and treatment areas after each session.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly dialysis environment at all times.
Report equipment faults, abnormalities, or safety concerns promptly to the relevant personnel.
Assist with stock management by monitoring consumables and supporting inventory replenishment.
Support the handling and organisation of dialysis-related supplies and medical materials.
Carry out additional duties as required to support the smooth operation of the dialysis centre.
Education & Credentials
Minimum GCE N or O Level qualification, or a relevant healthcare support certificate.
Professional Experience
Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical support setting is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
Physically fit and able to assist patients safely with movement and daily care needs.
Able to work well within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Caring disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Arrangement:
Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts across six days per week, including weekends and public holidays.
