The CoE Engineer for Die Level Prober acts as the technical consultant for probing and thermal for die level probing solutions. This role bridges R&D, field service, and global application teams to ensure robust, efficient, and scalable (Technologies Integration) of probing solutions. Focuses on driving innovation, supporting customer engagements, and enabling global knowledge transfer.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Product & Process Expertise
- Define effective NPI-solution setups for die-level probing and thermal management with new technologies integration solutions.
- Validate mechanical, thermal and automation performance under real-world conditions.
2. Innovation & Influence
- Collaborate with R&D to influence design for better reliability and performance (throughput, stability).
- Drive improvements in die handling, thermal management and automation relevance with customers needs and market demands.
3. Customer & Field Support
- Participate in strategic customer engagements, especially for new probing solution introductions.
- Provide consulting and troubleshooting for NPI & solution-integration support, related to mechanical (probe) alignment, thermal control, and automation efficiency.
4. Knowledge Transfer
- Facilitate technical transfer to field engineers and customers.
- Conduct workshops and online sessions on prober operation and optimization know-how to support teams globally.
Job requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics /Electronics Thermal Engineering
- Deep understanding of semiconductor package handling and thermal technologies.
- Global mindset and industrial knowledge to influence design decisions on technical, operational and business needs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication for customer consulting, technical sharing and R&D collaboration.
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment (Die Level Prober), thermal and related automation systems.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical alignment, thermal control, and device handling.
- Flexible and available for short-notice business travel, extended working hours, and weekend/holiday support to ensure critical project delivery or escalation management.
