DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

. Own and manage end-to-end DevSecOps infrastructure and security solutions across development and production environments.

. Troubleshoot and resolve system, infrastructure, and application issues, including participation in on-call support for critical incidents.

. Design, configure, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and release processes.

. Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows.

. Provision and manage virtual machines, databases, containers, and cloud resources for development and project teams.

. Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management to support scalability, business continuity, and disaster recovery.

. Deploy and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability tools to ensure system performance, availability, and reliability.

. Integrate security controls and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures.

. Conduct vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and security incident troubleshooting.

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, with a strong focus on automation and security.

. Proficiency in at least three programming or scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go.

. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Vagrant).

. Strong knowledge of container and cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and CNCF tools.

. Experience implementing security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, CIS), preferably in regulated or enterprise environments.
