DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure by applying your expertise in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment, cloud technologies, container orchestration, and security. Your day-to-day activities will include building and testing end-to-end continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines while ensuring that systems remain secure against potential threats. Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code modules using Terraform or CloudFormation

You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Providing solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role.

Advanced proficiency in DevSecOps is required. Intermediate proficiency in AWS Operations is recommended. Intermediate proficiency in Application Deployment Management and GitHub is suggested.

Develop and optimize infrastructure automation to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability.

Support and guide team members by sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.

Analyze system performance and security metrics to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development and operational goals for seamless delivery.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools to elevate overall project quality.

Expectation:

1. Build and operate the core WOG data platform

2. Support agencies in integrating with the platform

3. Develop data connectors and pipelines to onboard agency datasets efficiently
