Summary:
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to ensure seamless software delivery, infrastructure deployment, and product operability. You will work closely with development teams to automate processes, implement best practices, and maintain secure, efficient systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Delivery & Infrastructure:
- Manage software delivery from source code to deployment packages.
- Implement system architecture and PaaS solutions.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning (compute, network, storage).
Product Operability:
- Ensure the product architecture is state-of-the-art and operational best practices are followed.
- Train and inform software teams on operational constraints.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement security requirements, including secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, Kubernetes secrets).
- Ensure password-less SSH and secure configurations.
Monitoring & Alerting:
- Deploy and manage monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and log collection (ELK, FluentBit).
- Configure and maintain network services (NGINX, HAProxy).
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- 3+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for scripting.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Knowledge of networking (LAN, CIDR, vLAN, DNS, SSL) and security best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Sonatype Nexus, SonarQube, Blackduck Coverity, or Trivy.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka, IBMMQ, EMQX, Minio, or Redis.
- Understanding of Agile methodology, Git Flow, and GitOps.
