DevOps Engineer (Data Analytics Platform)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong exposure to Data Analytics platforms to support infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and cloud-based data environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of data platforms and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and analytics applications.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

• Deploy, monitor, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (if applicable).

• Support cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) for analytics platforms.

• Maintain and optimize relational databases including PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and MySQL.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

• Ensure system security, compliance, and performance optimization.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analytics teams to streamline deployment and delivery processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps and automation.

• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.

• Experience managing cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Strong SQL knowledge and database management experience (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MySQL).

• Experience supporting data platforms, analytics systems, or ETL pipelines.

• Good understanding of networking, system architecture, and security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms.

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
