Job Summary
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms, automate deployments, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development teams and customers to ensure platform reliability and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes environments to ensure platform stability and scalability
- Build, support, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and Nexus to automate software delivery
- Automate deployment processes and infrastructure management to improve efficiency and reduce errors
- Monitor system performance continuously, troubleshoot issues promptly, and maintain high availability of services
- Implement security best practices to safeguard platform integrity and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Collaborate effectively with development teams and customers to support application deployments and operational needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 3 years of DevOps experience managing OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms
- Proficiency with Docker, Helm, CI/CD tools, and automation techniques
- Knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and performance testing tools such as JMeter
- Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and teamwork orientation
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- OpenShift or Kubernetes certification
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with Blue-Green deployment strategies, monitoring tools, and Agile/DevOps methodologies
- Experience in the banking or payments industry
