DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and centralized DevOps platforms. The role involves close collaboration with development teams, stakeholders, and vendors to enable efficient, secure, and scalable software delivery across hybrid and cloud environments. You will play a key role in driving DevOps best practices, toolchain modernization, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from requirements gathering through successful onboarding and implementation of DevOps pipelines.

• Support development teams in preparing JIRA deployment tickets as part of change management processes.

• Work with internal teams and external vendors to implement and enhance centralized DevOps platforms aligned with industry standards and best practices.

• Upgrade and integrate DevOps toolchains to ensure scalability, reliability, and ease of support.

• Lead root cause analysis and resolution for test orchestration and environment-related issues.

• Contribute to DevOps governance, security standards, and audit readiness.

• Stay current with industry trends and drive innovation across DevOps, runtime, and operational platforms.

• Operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.

Technical Requirements

Core DevOps & CI/CD

• Hands-on experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode (SAST), JIRA, and Confluence.

• Solid experience building and orchestrating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

• Experience implementing centralized CI/CD solutions across teams or platforms.

Containers & Cloud

• Hands-on experience containerizing applications and working with Kubernetes (pods, containers, deployments).

• Good understanding of Kubernetes deployment processes, including secrets management.

• Experience with OpenShift and/or AWS environments.

• Exposure to deploying DevOps pipelines across internal and external cloud platforms.

• Experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.

Automation & Scripting

• Solid hands-on experience with Shell or Groovy scripting.

• Technical exposure to automation using Python, Chef, Ruby, or PowerShell.

• Familiarity with different build and branching strategies.

Quality, Security & Observability

• Experience with continuous testing tools and practices (e.g., JUnit, SonarQube, Veracode).

• Experience implementing DevOps security standards, governance, and audit requirements.

• Familiarity with observability platforms and incident response workflows.

Additional Technical Exposure (Advantageous)

• Working knowledge of AI / Machine Learning applications.

• Exposure to Big Data platforms such as Hadoop, Cloudera, or Elasticsearch.
