As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and operational stability of enterprise-grade web applications for a critical government system. Your expertise will ensure high availability, performance, and security, playing a vital role in the system's ongoing success and adherence to service level agreements.
Role Responsibilities:
Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
Monitor system performance and availability, respond to incidents, and ensure adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Provide technical support and guidance for application maintenance activities within the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) AWS environment.
Collaborate closely with development, operations, and architecture teams to drive process improvements and resolve technical challenges.
To accommodate customer's operational needs, there will sometimes be work outside of regular business hours.
Role Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and enhancing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for enterprise-grade web applications.
Proven experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
Experience in supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring service level objectives are met.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to transmit information in a clear and unambiguous way.
Have the skills and resilience to handle situations and deliver results on time with minimum supervision.
A team-player who takes ownership.
Advantageous Qualifications & Certifications:
Certifications such as CompTia, EC Council, RedHat, Azure Cloud, or AWS Cloud Certification or Equivalent
