DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced digital engineering environment supporting large-scale platforms and services. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, cloud technologies, system reliability, and modern software delivery practices. You will work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency, operational stability, and platform scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure environments.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Automate operational and deployment processes to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams within Agile delivery squads.
• Manage and support multiple application environments across development, testing, and production.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to improve system observability and incident response.
• Support infrastructure operations including backup automation, recovery procedures, patching, and system maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across release management, deployment automation, and operational workflows.

Requirements

• Experience supporting modern application environments and deployment ecosystems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or equivalent cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps best practices.
• Hands-on experience with source control and version management tools such as Git.
• Exposure to automation and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, or related tools.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using shell scripting or similar languages.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, routing, proxies, load balancing, and subnetting.
• Familiarity with enterprise hosting environments and infrastructure components including application servers, web servers, firewalls, and databases.
• Experience supporting monitoring and observability platforms.

Preferred Profile

• 3-5 years of relevant DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Self-motivated individual who is proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
