BookMyShow SEA is a regional ticketing start up, selling events, movies, attractions and more. We empower event organisers and venue owners by giving them the right tools that they need to successfully manage their ticketing from the internet to the door.
We are looking for Devops Engineer to join our team.
What will you get to work on
- Oversight of all server environments, from Dev through Production.
- Work on an infrastructure that is 100% on a public cloud platform (Google Cloud).
- CI/CD tooling which is used to build and deploy code to our cloud and overall Support of the Pipeline to ensure seamless deployment.
- Assist with day-to-day issue management.
- Implement solutions for logging, monitoring, performance enhancement, capacity optimization, and configuration management of systems and applications.
- Customization of existing pipeline and template based on squad requirements
- Ensure availability of infrastructure which includes troubleshooting underlying system if applicable
- Coordinate with the infrastructure team on standard updates and ensure those are reflected on a regular basis
What do we expect from you
- Good hands-on experience to the Unix/Linux platform.
- More than 1 year of hands-on experience in DevOps/ Currently practicing DevOps methodology.
- Ability to do scripting (any one of Shell, Perl, Python, golang etc.).
- Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in using Docker and Kubernetes preferred.
- Understanding of the components of a CI/CD pipeline.
- How to operate with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins experience is a plus / Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation with Jenkins or similar tools.
- Be curious, versatile, dynamic, rigorous, great autonomy and a team player, as well as a spirit of analysis and synthesis
