DevOps Engineer (AWS, Linux, Terraform, MongoDB)

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and improve the infrastructure, tools, and processes for Vonage's unified communication platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and security, while driving continuous improvement in our systems. • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure site reliability and performance.
• Work with security teams to enforce best practices and security protocols.
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure and Linux systems.
• Administer and fine-tune MySQL databases and MongoDB clusters.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment.
• Implement monitoring solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement proactive measures.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance processes and productivity.

• 7+ years of overall software development experience, including at least 6 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Expertise in AWS, Linux systems, MySQL, MongoDB, and enterprise tools.
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience we consider a plus:

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Ansible, and Docker Compose.
