DevOps Architect / Lead

Key Responsibilities

DevOps Strategy & Architecture

• Design and implement scalable DevOps architecture and best practices across the organization.

• Define infrastructure standards, automation frameworks, and deployment strategies.

• Lead the adoption of DevOps culture, tools, and methodologies.

CI/CD Pipeline Development

• Architect and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous deployment.

• Automate build, testing, and deployment workflows for faster release cycles.

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Optimize infrastructure performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.

Monitoring & Reliability

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and availability.

• Improve system reliability through proactive incident management and performance optimization.

Security & Compliance

• Integrate security practices within DevOps pipelines (DevSecOps).

• Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes meet security and compliance standards.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor DevOps engineers and collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams.

• Provide technical guidance and support for infrastructure and deployment challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure engineering.

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
