As part of the Sustainable Energy Team, you will play a critical role in shaping and supporting the growth of companies in emerging energy sectors such as hydrogen, carbon capture, grid management, and solar energy. You will work closely with a broad network of stakeholdersincluding companies, government agencies, and research institutionsto deepen our understanding of energy technologies and translate global developments into opportunities for our local ecosystem.
[What you will be working on]
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage and build strong relationships with energy companies, government agencies, research institutes, and other ecosystem players to identify opportunities and challenges in the energy transition. Contribute to policy and project development efforts, including pilot programs, grant evaluations, or industry consultations.
- Sector and ecosystem Development: i) Drive initiatives to grow the sustainable energy sector by identifying gaps, co-developing strategies, and promoting partnerships and capability-building efforts. ii) Stay plugged into developments across multiple workstreams (e.g., hydrogen, CCUS, solar, grid tech) and understand their relevance to local companies and implications for the nation's energy strategy. iii) Monitor global and regional trends in clean energy technologies, and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and strategic planning.
- Thought Leadership: Exercise critical thinking and offer innovative insights on the evolving energy landscape, including implications for national competitiveness, sustainability goals, and industry transformation.

- Prior experience or exposure to energy, climate, or sustainability sectors is a plus
