Job Description

Job Title: Desktop Engineer (L1 Support)

Job Mode: 12-month renewable contract

Salary: 3000 SGD

Work location: Central, Singapore

Total HC: 9

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support for the desktop computing environment, including hardware, software, and peripherals troubleshooting
  • Follow and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various technical support scenarios and change management processes
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all support activities, incidents, and resolutions on designated platforms
  • Handle user requests and incidents through email communication, ensuring proper tracking and timely updates
  • Support end-user computing device (EUCD) compliance and management, including asset tracking and security policies
  • Process administrative paperwork for IT equipment deployment, replacement, and disposal
  • Generate regular reports on support metrics and incident resolution status

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with IT service management tools and ticketing systems
  • Excellent documentation and administrative skills
  • Good communication skills in both written and verbal English
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
  • Basic understanding of IT security practices and compliance requirements
