Desktop Engineer Cum Admin

Responsibilities

• Ensure desktop environment standard apps are patched regularly
• Managing Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
• Perform root cause analysis, network problems, troubleshooting performance issues and hardware failures
• Prepare, install and configure technologies and applications to ensure support on operating system and platforms of company assets
• Prepare IT status reports
• Follow, implement, and maintaining the security of systems and data
• Managing network environment (Firewall, Router, Access Point)

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in IT preferred or HR
• At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience
• Understanding of IT, and Cloud Computing
• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and sometimes Linux.
• Proficiency in Microsoft support tools, such as AD, M365, Entra ID, storage and networking
• Proficiency with hardware and software installation
• Good knowledge of computer components, peripherals, electrical, and troubleshooting hardware issues.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve software issues across various applications.
• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals
• Understanding of best practices for maintaining the security of systems and data.
• Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting Ethernet and IP configuration
• Ability to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to non-technical users
• Involve in ISO27001 & Others
• Manage Facilities, quotation, other adhoc work.
