We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented Desktop Engineer to provide on-site IT support and ensure smooth daily operations. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, system administration, vendor coordination, and support for IT projects, requiring a solid foundation in end-user support, basic networking, and independent problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site helpdesk support, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Perform Active Directory administration, including domain and GPO management.
- Conduct standard client system setup, patching, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and clients to resolve issues and support project delivery.
- Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, new deployments, and office relocations.
- Manage IT assets, procurement administration, and maintenance contracts.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Provide end-user training and briefings.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk.
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
