Designer & Video Editor

The Role

We're looking for a versatile designer to take ownership of WIDTH's visual output across three pillars: brand & marketing design, product UI, and video content. You'll be the go-to creative force for everything visual at WIDTH.

What You'll Do

Brand & Marketing Design

• Design marketing collateral: pitch decks, one-pagers, brochures, event posters, banners

• Create social media visuals for LinkedIn, WeChat, and ad campaigns

• Design event materials: booth graphics, invitation headers, speaker cards

• Maintain and evolve WIDTH brand guidelines

Product UI Design

• Design and iterate on UI for WIDTH's compliance platform

• Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on user flows and interaction design

• Ensure design consistency across the product through a component-based design system

Short-form Video

• Produce short videos for social media, product demos, and marketing campaigns

• Handle end-to-end video creation: storyboarding, filming/screen capture, editing, motion graphics

• Create animated explainers for product features and compliance concepts

Requirements

• 3+ years of design experience spanning at least 2 of the 3 pillars (graphic, UI, video)

• Proficiency in Figma (UI), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

• Video editing skills: Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut

• Strong portfolio demonstrating range across marketing, product, and/or video

• Experience designing for both English and Chinese audiences

• Ability to work independently, juggle multiple projects, and meet deadlines

• Eye for detail and brand consistency

Nice to Have

• Experience in B2B SaaS, FinTech, or RegTech

• 3D or illustration skills

• Motion graphics and animation expertise

• Understanding of UX research and usability principles

• Mandarin proficiency
