The incumbent will be responsible for FF&E in all design phases, from design process to project concept, branding, sourcing products, preparing sample boards, and producing specifications and schedules, including obtaining material unit cost reference information.
The incumbent also works closely with the team to ensure designs are in accordance with contractual and Client's agreement.
The incumbent is responsible for checking shop drawings and samples, including manufactured items and leading the team
The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring budgets are met and FF&E items are sourced to meet Client's expectations.
The incumbent shall assist in overseeing the FF&E designers.
. Working closely with the design team in concept and design development.
. Responsible for selecting and preparing FF&E presentations of materials and finishes.
. Coordinating with the design team in developing furniture layouts, perspectives, and 3D renderings.
. Working closely with the Design teams to ensure designs are in accordance with contractual and client's agreement.
. Working closely and assisting in coordination with consultants and clients when the need arises.
. Ensuring that project assignments are completed within the given deadline.
. Preparing full sets of FF&E specifications and documentation for tender and construction drawings.
. Reviewing shop drawings from suppliers and contractors.
. Attending site meetings and site/factory inspections to review materials and furniture.
. Flexibility in handling multiple projects.
. Assisting in overseeing the work and performance of FF&E designers.
. Able to coordinate, delegate, give feedback, and mentor subordinates regarding their work.
. Must possess a relevant Degree in Textiles or Interior Design or equivalent.
. Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in FF&E, especially in the luxury hospitality industry.
. Professional knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, 3D Max, and SketchUp will be a plus.
. PC versatility essential.
. Good understanding of design (composition, planning, materials, details, furniture, and fixtures).
. Good knowledge of drawing preparation and CAD standards, strong organizational skills, and attentiveness to detail.
. Able to interpret specifications and layouts.
. Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
. Must be meticulous, a good team player, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and perform in a fast‑paced environment.
. Highly motivated, with strong communication, interpersonal, and observation skills, and a team player.
. Creativity and artistic flair.
. Passionate and aware of global design trends and FF&E suppliers.
. Responsible and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

. Good knowledge of site work and progress.
. Strong in design detailing and freehand sketching would be an advantage.
