Designer

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to understand goals, behaviors and needs
• Develop user and domain models based on research findings
• Define context scenarios and ideal user experiences
• Describe system capabilities and requirements to support user tasks
• Design information flows, workflows and system structures
• Test and refine products through evaluative research
• Advocate for user needs and maintain empathy throughout the design process

Requirements

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch and Adobe CS
• Experience designing and shipping digital projects
• Strong understanding of digital mediums and technology constraints
• Experience with eServices development is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to propose design decisions that balance user needs, business goals and technical feasibility
• Clear communication skills with the ability to adapt creatively within a team environment

Nice to have

• Experience with eServices development
• Basic coding knowledge to better understand technical feasibility
