Job Description
We are seeking a Design Quality Engineer to support the development and qualification of semiconductor equipment, with a focus on test planning, reliability validation, and data analysis to ensure high product performance and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute qualification test plans to validate new product designs based on customer use cases
- Design and implement Accelerated Life Testing (ALT) and stress tests for high-value components
- Perform statistical analysis on test and reliability data (e.g., DOE, Cpk, regression) and prepare technical reports
- Evaluate component and system-level quality work closely with suppliers to drive quality improvements
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting in collaboration with engineering teams
- Ensure all defects identified during testing are logged, tracked, and resolved through corrective actions
- Maintain 5S standards and ensure proper lab safety, equipment maintenance, and calibration
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of qualification test planning, test instrumentation, and problem-solving methodologies
- Experience in statistical analysis (DOE, Cpk, t-test, regression, reliability analysis)
- Proficient in Minitab and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Independent, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
