- Position : Design Manager / Senior Jewellery Designer
- Location : Loyang
- Working hours : 5 Days Work Week - Monday to Friday: 9.00AM to 6.30PM
- Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $10,000 + Performance Bonus + 14-18 Days Annual Leave + Medical + Dental + Specialist + Red Packet for Birthdays/Events

Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the creative direction for jewellery and bespoke luxury products.
- Develop design concepts through mood boards, sketches, themes and collection direction.
- Review and guide design work to ensure consistency with brand identity, craftsmanship standards and luxury positioning.
- Oversee the development of technical drawings, CAD models, 3D renders and production-ready specifications.
- Approve final design outputs before handover to Production.
- Ensure design documentation, measurements and references are accurate and aligned with internal SOPs.
- Manage design schedules, workflows and project timelines across corporate and product development projects.
- Work closely with Sales, Client Servicing, Production, Operations, Procurement and Marketing teams to ensure design feasibility, cost accuracy and execution quality.
- Identify and resolve design, production or feasibility issues early in the process.
- Maintain and improve design standards, SOPs and workflows.
- Explore new materials, gemstones, techniques and design innovations where appropriate.
- Oversee Mimaki artwork/output quality and ensure alignment with design requirements.
- Lead, mentor and develop designers, CAD artists and visualisation specialists.
- Set team KPIs, manage workload allocation, conduct coaching and performance reviews.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in jewellery design, luxury products or a related design field.
- Strong knowledge of CAD, technical drawings and production-ready design processes.
- Experience working with production, operations and cross-functional teams.
- Strong design sense with good understanding of materials, gemstones, craftsmanship and luxury aesthetics.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and process discipline.
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about craftsmanship, innovation and design excellence.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.
