Scope of Position
We are looking for a curious and proactive Process Design Engineer to join our Singapore team. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate who wants to apply strong technical fundamentals to the design of practical industrial process systems.
You will work with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams to support projects from early concepts through detailed design and delivery. We value people who communicate clearly, take ownership of their work, stay curious, and approach problems thoughtfully.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the development of industrial process designs from concept through detailed design and project delivery.
- Prepare and update process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), process descriptions, equipment lists, specifications, and design calculations.
- Assist with process calculations, including mass balances, process throughput, utility requirements, and equipment sizing and selection.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, controls, architectural, and construction teams to develop integrated and practical solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, client discussions, site visits, plant surveys, and field inspections where required.
- Review technical submissions, shop drawings, and vendor information against project requirements.
- Identify design issues early, investigate root causes, and contribute practical, well-considered solutions.
- Maintain organised project files, communicate progress clearly, and complete assigned tasks to agreed quality, scope, and schedule requirements.
- Continue building your knowledge of process engineering, industry practices, and relevant technologies.
Education/Experience
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Fresh graduates from NUS, NTU, or other recognised universities are welcome to apply.
- A strong interest in industrial process design and applying engineering principles to real operating facilities.
- Sound understanding of engineering fundamentals such as fluid flow, heat transfer, mass balance, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, piping systems, and process controls.
- Exposure to process simulation, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or other engineering design software is an advantage, but not required.
How you will succeed in this role
- Communicate clearly and openly — share ideas, progress, and concerns in a timely manner; listen actively and ask thoughtful questions.
- Stay curious and take initiative — seek to understand how systems work, explore the details behind a problem, and look for ways to improve outcomes.
- Take ownership — deliver accurate and well-organised work, manage commitments responsibly, and raise risks early when clarification or support is needed.
- Solve problems thoughtfully — analyse issues systematically, consider practical alternatives, and work with others to reach sound solutions.
- Collaborate effectively — work respectfully with colleagues, clients, vendors, and site teams across different disciplines.
- Commit to quality and safety — take pride in reliable, buildable designs and uphold high standards of safety and professionalism.
Why join us
You will work in a supportive engineering environment where you can learn from experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful industrial projects, and develop both your technical and professional capabilities.
We believe strong engineers combine technical rigour with curiosity, communication, teamwork, and personal ownership. If you are ready to build a career in industrial process design and make a tangible contribution from day one, we would like to hear from you.
